Are Big Breasted Women More Intelligent?

The stereotype has been perpetuated that big breasted women are less intelligent than their small breasted counterparts. It may be time to rethink this idea.
Are big breasted people less intelligent than their small breasted counterparts? Does breast size correlate with intelligence? Sometimes old stereotypes die hard. The idea perpetuated down through the ages is that big breasted women are less intelligent. This image has been reinforced in literature, in comic strips, and on television where the air headed woman is portrayed with overly processed blond hair and large breasts prominently displayed in an eye catching push up bra.
In contrast, the smart woman is generally depicted as being dark haired and small breasted, with thick rimmed glasses and a rather nondescript look. It may be time to rethink this outdated notion..
According to a study carried out by a Chicago sociologist in 2003, women with big breasts had ten point higher I.Q’s. on average than their less well endowed counterparts. This sociologist conducting the study, who admitted to being a 32A in breast size, looked at 1200 women of various breast sizes. She divided the women into five categories based on their breast measurements. These included extra-large, large, medium, small, and extra-small breast sizes.
The women were then given an I.Q. test to objectively measure their intelligence levels To the researcher’s surprise, women in the extra-large and large categories scored an average of ten points higher than women in the groups with the smallest breast sizes. Even women with medium sized breasts beat out the small breasted women by several I.Q. points.
While no one is sure why this correlation between breast size and intelligence may exist, it may have something to do with sex hormone levels which play a role in determining a woman’s breast size. There’s also the possibility there may be some natural selection taking place here.
If it’s true that men actually prefer women with larger breast sizes, the intelligent men may be selectively choosing larger breasted women as their reproductive partners. The resulting offspring would have a high likelihood of inheriting the genes for larger breast size from the woman along with the male’s genes for higher intelligence.
It’s interesting to note that women in the United States have the largest breast size in the world with an average bra cup size of C. Does this mean we have the smartest women in the world? There’s also the issue of breast enhancement. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem likely that a woman can increase her intelligence by getting large breast implants, though no study has been done to confirm or refute this.
So, the next time you’re tempted to call that gal with the big breasts jutting out of her Victoria Secret’s push bra a bimbo, think again. She may actually be a rocket scientist.

As someone in the image field who has read other sociological articles about breasts, thanks. The evolutionary explanation is quite original and makes sense. It would be nice to see the actual study, which for example would answer the question of whether the researcher took into account body weight and the intelligence-linked trait that is height. The one comment worth making here is that intelligent women probably tend to be more modest in public dress than less intelligent women, leading observers to think that they’re smaller on top than they are.

My wife is incredibly smart. She also is very well endowed. Her mind is what attracted me to her, Seriously. It’s a biological imperative that some men have, that make large breasted women attractive. I want my children to be as smart if not smarter than I am.

Interesting! Until now I had my very own theory that “well-breasted” teenager girls were more at risk to be diverted from the academic path, as soon as they had bloomed, because of all the male attention (at school by wannabe 12-year old fathers, on the street by wannabe pedophiles..) which could end up perverting their innocent (and until then, school-focussed) mind!

What do you mean ‘admitted to being 32A’ ? Your use of admitted makes it sound like a confession. How fortunate to have pert, young looking breasts rather than the saggy bags of fat that you seem to admire. As for USA breast sizes, C cup is average in most of the western world so nothing to boast about there. Are American woman more intelligent? If this article is an example, ofviously not.

I have blonde hair, am thin, and wear a 32DD sized bra, and i’m all natural. People think i’m dumb but my IQ is 140. I’m glad this study was published because people assume i’m just a bimbo!

I think the part about U. S. American women having larger breast on average might be true; keep in mind they are also have more weight problems in average, so it’s only natural. I’m actually under the impression that fit women from Eastern Europe have bigger cups than those from the rest of the world, while Japanese are about the opposite.
Another thing, the article quotes a “sociology study from Chicago, done in 2002″. Can we know the name of the institution and author?

It seems that you have a weight problem.
And while bragging about your IQ you might consider to try to give an more intelligent response.
1. If some woman with an high IQ has small breasts it doesn’t affect the result of study. Study is made on average of 1200 woman. So some woman with 32A could have an IQ of 200, but on average, they had lower IQ then woman with big tits.
2. Study doesn’t say that American woman are the smartest ones. You need to learn to read, I hope that in MENSA they have some courses.
Someone said that it would be interesting to see the original article, to see whether the weight factor was eliminated. Also the study needs to be done for separate ethnic groups. Black women probably have on average the largest breasts but have the lowest IQ on average (about 85), also the Asian woman have the smallest breasts and the highest IQ on average.
