This article points out the difference between women before and the contemporary.

Is there a difference between a traditional woman and contemporary woman? All have common denominator , woman. Actually , the difference between the two lies in the culture of these women.  Women in Asia differs very much from that women in western countries. But let us focus in women of  Asia. Brought  by culture and practices women played different role depending which country she came from. Traditional Asian women is enclosed in her four walled room ,doing all the house stuff ,nurturing and caring for children. Neither she got an  opinion in the family nor in society. She  does  all the services expected from her. She’s tired but she can’t complain. She can’t go out alone and enjoy herself. No time to pamper herself ,no time to be being her.

She’s  submissive to her husband. She spend her day only in that four corner structure , doing same monotonous stuff . But these things were gone. , it’s no longer applicable with our contemporary women. Women nowadays are empowered. They are fighters ! Woman today are well educated and are so well informed ,very much aware of their rights and privileges and very important thing is  they’re willing to stand and  fight for their rights. Unlike before you saw women in houses only , now you can see women in government offices . private entities even holding key position. There were women even who became president of their country  like the late President Corazon  Aquino of the Philippines.  Women today are enjoying equality of rights. They played a role in society. Their  voices are heard and respected. They are well protected by government hence no one could abuse or misuse them. Contemporary women are independent and  skilled and sometimes can do better than men. They are more responsible to family ,society and to own selves.
