Women are The Poorest Keepers of Top Secrets According an American Research Finding

I think this research conclusion is very true fo Ugandan women-they never keep any secrets.

I don’t want to appear mean to women here, but all along, drawing from the experiences in my own village and society, I have always known women to be the sources were beans are easily spilled and cats easily let out of the bags. In my village to be precise, men are usually out of the home, drinking, working in the fields or hunting with fellow men. What they talk there are usually generic issues of historical, political and social nature and very rarely do they discuss personalities.

As a little boy most favored by my late mother, I would always be around her. But she was also the kind of woman who had many women friends hence, a number of women visitors would come to our home to chat with my mother. What amazed me was the kind of issues they discussed-it was always about some personal details of neighbors, their husbands, their co-wives and their old lovers.

Now researchers in the US have confirmed the commonly held belief that women are the poorest human beings at keeping secrets. About 2000 women respondents within the age range of 16-28 years were interviewed over time and it was found out that no single woman kept a secret beyond 47 hours. Secrets about boy friends, close friends, relationships, families, marriages would easily be passed on to a third party within 47 hours. The same information would also be given to another person within 15 hours.

These findings cut across the social demographics and races, which make me, believe that the gene for poor secret keeping is probably embedded in a woman’s genome. The question I raise then is, should we be afraid of entrusting our women with Top positions in our intelligence services?
