Envy is a strange feeling. It is a mixture of psychological, social and personal aspect of human nature. Women on the other hand, have been mysterious. But, women have always been the cynosure since time immemorial. Thus, men have been envious towards women in these seven instances which are interesting for all of us.

Poets, with sonnets, rhymes, lyrics and songs, have showered them all on women.

Whether it was the Kamasutra of Vatsayana or the immortal Shakespearian sonnets women has been dedicated the adoration and admiration and sometimes immortalized through these creation. The war for Helen of Troy or the other fights which has gone down the pages of history also has abundant examples of women being the centre of the reason. Men always have the belief of chivalry to display towards women to prove its strength and attraction towards them. But, unfortunately fight, declare wars and sometimes die in the process with the unfulfilled achievement of being in the arms of their desired lady for whom the battle/war was fought.

The most beautiful piece of a precious stone, the diamond is displayed the best on women.

We all know about the super rich women who are aficionados of this stone which is otherwise called a stone forever.  The Hamilton cut diamond around the neck of Elizabeth Taylor, the legendary Hollywood actress, is an ethereal combination which complements each other to its ultimate level. Poor man, at the most, is a diamond craftsman or work in a jewelers shop. He ignites his creative imagination to bring the finest cut to this otherwise valueless stone, gives it the brilliance of dazzle with fall of light but it is the that unknown women who steals the show on displaying the ob.jet d’ art.

The fashion industry cannot stop its creation for women.

The ABCD (Alexander McQueen, Betsey Johnson, Christian Dior and Donatella Versace) of the world fashion industry internationally have all made their creation catch flight through the most graceful women supermodels in the industry. It is the hour glass figures of Gisele Bundschen, Naomi Campbell or Eva Herzigova that makes statements in the different collections for these fashion icons in the global market connect with their consumers. Yes we have a men’s industry on fashion running too. But, it can never complement neither be as diverse and flamboyant as their fairer counterpart. After all the game is somewhat stuck within shirts and pants and look alike. Even the accessories like shoes, jewelleries, skin colors etc can make long lists in favour of women.

The attention of men is always towards women.

Men drool, ogle, stare, gaze and squint when they see attractive women. Women also look at women because they become green when they find one or many women especially dressed better or carrying themselves in a very fashionable manner. Men perhaps look at men when anyone there is a gay or absolutely mismatch.

Women bring the most beautiful thing in this planet: Another life.

When a baby is born from a woman, it is not one of the greatest wish fulfillment of the mother but, it is enormous joy to everyone else in the family and friends. Man can only plant the seed, stay at a distance and wonder what is happening. The anxiousness reaches the height and breaks into joy when he is a proud father after the baby is born.

There is no change in women with the advancement of age.

The early 1900 women had to multitask at home and switch between a wife, daughter and mother. Today the responsibilities have gone up and along with being a wife, daughter and mother she is a professional managing groups, institutions and organizations which spreads across small towns to continents. The CEO of Pepsi, Indra K Nooyi, one of the most powerful woman executive, has managed to handle her career of a superwoman by believing in the philosophy where she says “You must have fun in whatever you do. Your work takes up so much of your life that if you’re not having fun, what’s the point in it?” Men definitely mess up when required to carry multitasking at such diverse planes.

Roses, tulips, gladiolas and the other beautiful flowers are used to show love and affection towards women.

Be it a teenage wooing or an intimate candlelit dinner in a private yacht; flowers have always been able to ignite a romantic feeling towards the men. On the other hand men giving flower to men can only be imagined only and only in the corporate greetings of bosses or governmental protocols.

Indeed, I wish I were a woman. Science has even proven they are more physically/mentally complex than us. =/
