Which are some of the best websites which are designed to serve woman’s needs and interests?

Websites which are specifically designed to serve woman’s needs and tastes are definitely on the increase. With so many websites out there vying for a woman’s valuable time – which are the best? In this article I will take a look at several websites which offer women resources from every area including fashion, beauty and style, pregnancy, parenting, and entertainment.

Diygirl

Diygirl..net is a unique do it yourself guide for women. This site offers sections on everything from woman’s blogs, being a woman, career advice, crafts, fashion, fiance, entertainment, and of course how to articles. The design of the website is very clean with articles presented in a list under their topics, which is very much a refreshing difference from the normal lay out of most women’s sites. Well worth the time to check out.

Cosmopolitan

While Cosmopolitan has been one of the most iconic woman’s print magazines for some time, the cosmopolitan web site is surprising loaded with feature content. You don’t even have to subscribe to the print magazine to get access to this content, and membership on the web site is free. Cosmopolitan.com offers sections on sex & love, hair & beauty, celebs & style, quizzes, and advice.

Ivillage

Ivillage.com is perhaps one of the best known of women’s websites, and because of its notoriety as the number one woman’s site, its well worth mentioning here. This site covers a lot of women’s issues, including sections which are among the more difficult to find on women’s web sites such as, going green, home and garden and health and diet. Ivillage also has a very active discussion board community which really helps to give the site a sense of community.

Womensforum

Womensforum.com is billed as “The Place for Moms!”, and that statement gives a good indication as to the editorial direction of this website. Topic areas include parenting, food, health, home, pregnancy and baby, beauty, entrainment, love, and money, all presented from a mom’s view.

Bellaonline

Bellaonline.com is more than just the number two most visited woman’s website on the internet, it is a social movement. Bellaonline is not owned by a mega corporation and is operated on a modest budget, but it accomplishes its goal to provide an encouraging, supportive publishing community for women. You will find the normal woman’s issue topics covered from a fiercely independent view. One of the best woman’s interest sites out there.

The area of women’s interest sites on the internet is vast, and hopefully one or more of the above mentioned sites will be worth your time to check out. All of the sites mentioned above clearly care about their mission to provide information, entertainment, and community to women at large.
