The Rules of Love Every Woman Should Abide By
Relationships may cause nuisance if mishandled, however any prudent person learns before making any move.
If love is a game, then it is worth setting rules to guard the interests of both players and spectators. With the prevalent romantic short changes by involved parties, the better option would be to mitigate against their heart breaking effects. The following revolutionary rules as Janet Dyupree in her book “The Rules of Love” would confess will go along way in fore arming ladies throughout their love journey.
Commandment No.1:
Thou shalt never be caught looking less than perfect. The reason why young ladies these days end up dating lazy good for nothing and other assorted non-achievers is because they don’t bother to look good. Not once have I heard it said if you want to attract a million dollar man, you have to look like you are worth a million dollars. Always, always look your best even if you’re just popping round to the shop to buy groceries. Don’t walk out of your gate without your make up.
Commandment No. 2:
Thou shalt not make the first move. It’s no longer a secret that men are instinctively trained to hunt their prey down. As a result, they take pride in the woman they have pursued over along period of time. If you want to keep his interest, then stay aloof until he notices you. Don’t even give your phone number the first time he asks for, if he wants to find you, he will.
Commandment No. 3:
Thou shalt end the first date first. No matter how good a time you are having, always ensure you are the one to put an end to the fun and games. Let him chase you a little more before you can spend the extended evenings and weekends together.
Commandment No. 4:
Thou shalt not drop everything to go on a date with him. If you act in away as to constantly wait for him to make your plans for you, he will start taking you for granted.
Commandment No. 5:
Thou shalt not pay for your date. Don’t ever offer to pay for your dates even though you have cash. If he is broke he shouldn’t be going out with a classy lady like you in the first place.
Commandment No. 6:
Thou shalt not kiss him, except on the cheeks until you have dated for at least one month. Keep him anticipating; don’t even give him a hint of the candy that is in the shop until he has made an effort to prove that he deserves it.
Commandment No. 7:
Thou shalt not sleep with him until you are married. Resist the temptation to share a bed with him just because you are engaged. Remember a man will do anything, absolutely anything to get you into bed. The path into marriage is littered with fallen and broken women who have given it for their fiancé, only to be dumped as if they were one-night stand. If you want that ring on your finger, you’ve got to keep your price goods away from him until the right time.
Commandment No. 8:
Thou shalt not use “Love” word before he does. Premature declarations of love will put you at his mercy and in a vulnerable position that enables him take advantage of you. Always wait until he brings up the “L” word, consequently, make him wait a few tortured weeks before you decide to tell him how you feel.
Commandment No. 9:
Thou shalt not live with him until you are married. The last mistake you should do is to move with a man and live on a trial and error life before he commits to legally marry you. You only have one live to lead and that is it.
Commandment No. 10:
Thou shalt not lose your life to him. Don’t abandon your relatives, friends, your interests or your quality time with yourself just because you want to spend all your time with him. Men like women who own their lives. Ensure you hold on to your life without taking on his favorite sports, hobbies or friends just for the reason of being a round him.
