Hiding The Monthly Visitor

Why is it that women are still so hush-hush when they are going through their menstrual cycle? Is it really necessary to hide our feminine hygiene products from the world?

Why is that women are so shy when it comes to their monthly visitor. Month after month, you hear the women whisper, slipping pads and tampons in their bras and pockets and sneaking off to the restroom. I’m sure some women don’t want the whole world to know what’s going on in their uterus, but why in this day in age do women act like they are ashamed of having a period? It’s a natural thing that women just have to go through. Are women afraid men will judge them? Is this still a lingering thing from back in the day when women didn’t have as many rights as men? Were women taught not to let people know? I don’t know why we act like there’s nothing wrong when it feels like our insides are rebelling against us. This goes out to all my females, don’t be embarrassed of your tampons! Carry them with pride! We are women hear us roar! We bleed for days on end and still have no problem with our day to day routines! It’s obvious that men can’t handle a lot of ‘girly’ things, but come on girls. Don’t be embarrassed! It’s part of life!
