Join A Blogging Community For Friendship, Business, And More Views.
Women networks are so important for so many reasons. Bonding, sharing, friendship and connections with your business are just to name a few good reasons as to why to join a network for women if you are a woman.
Here is a few I have located that have helped me in many different ways.
Blogher
Blogher is a network for women who blog. You receive your own profile, and can add your picture as well as your links to your site and feeds. You can place your picture in the profile and change your status like you can in twitter and Facebook. Joining groups within Blogher is an option I strongly suggest to make more connections with the women who use the site. Blogging is available on the site, and your blog is placed on the front page under all blogs unless chosen by the editor to be placed in her category. The blogs range in topics from women’s health to beauty and sexuality. A strong suggestion to meet others and mingle is to comment on other women’s blogs. As much as we like getting read, so do the other women. This will draw attention to your profile and you will also gain views as well as new friendships.
Flokka
Flokka is a community of women bloggers who are in business. The profile you receive allows you to place your picture and link to your blog. They also have a tool that will link you to wordpress blogging features. The Flokka café is really fun and different; it is like using twitter to the Flokka group with a chance to win your blog featured on the front page at no cost. The discussion area is discussing anything related to Flokka or your business. Meeting other Flokka business minded women. They do have the option of opening up your own blog on the site, which I took that option until I pay for the upgrade which I intend to do eventually.
These two sites have enabled me to meet other powerful and bold women who blog and interact with the blogging community. I use my blog differently then most bloggers. Since I can not be paid to blog at the current moment, I place samples of my articles on the blog instead. This generates me views, feedback, and meeting other freelance writers or people who enjoy my articles.
If you are a blogging woman, I strongly suggest Blogher. Blogher has a variety of different types of blogging women, business included. If you are a blogging woman who is business minded; join us at Flokka.

Hi Dawn
Thanks for the mention of Flokka! As well as starting your own wordpress flokka blog on the site, you can link in your existing blog too – and we’re in the process of adding a place where members can submit guest posts if they don’t want to have their own blog… something for everyone; and all at no cost!
You’re right – joining women’s networks is a wonderful way to connect and share with other women; we love to support each other.

Hi Fiona, thanks for popping over, by the way the views are doing well so you might gain some new joiners,
Would love to know more about linking your existing blog, I could not figure that one out, I placed my link, and I can see the wordpress modules in the flokka blog, but not my own blog..
Hope to make myself at home at flokka
