As a Woman

Somewhere along the way,  women in America have missed the message.  That they are fearfully and wonderfully made by God.  The statistics for domestic violence against women climbs higher each year leaving more and more broken families behind.  It is the women who birth the generations and are the support system for the family structure.

Many young women are struggling today with the decision to abandon  relationships that do not enable the fulfillment of leading the life that God intended for them. There would be less struggling if the message I am providing in my next paragraph was understood and accepted as God’s simple truth for women in this country.

God created you from one of the bones he took from a man.  He choose the bone that protects mans life.  The rib.  The rib protects the heart and lungs of man and supports him as you are meant to do.  Your characteristics are as the rib-strong, yet also delicate and fragile.  You provide protection for one of the most delicate organs in man.  His heart.  His heart is the center of his being and his nearby lungs hold the breath of his life.  The bone chosen to create you was not taken from the foot of man for you to be beneath him, nor was it taken from his head for you to be above him.  The bone chosen was taken from his side for you to stand beside him.  As a woman, you are special because you are an extension of God.  Man is the representation of His image.  As a woman, you represent His emotions.  Together the totality of God is represented. As a woman, you are to be loved and respected.  When a man hurts you, he hurts Him.  In crushing you, a man damages his own heart.  No man of quality is ever threatened by a woman of equality.
