Aging and Gravity

More signs of aging.
Gravity is taking over
There’s nothing I can do
Would it make a difference
If I lived on the moon?
There’s no gravity up there
Everything stays put
Then again you can’t see
Right in front of your foot
You never know
What might bump into you
It sure won’t be snow
But it might be some poo
You just never know
So I guess I’ll stay grounded
And let things hit the floor
That’s my bum making that sound
As it drops to the floor
Oh well that is life
Not much we can do
At least it’s better
Than being hit with poo

LOL – I loved gravity in my 30’s, not so much in my 40’s, but anything’s better than being hit by poo!

Really cute poem. I hear ya, sister! Gravity is not kind to women. Do you think if we lived 6 months a year in Australia that the effects of gravity would zero out? Oh, well – at least we are in this aging thing together.

Love this. I have been having an ongoing battle with aging and gravity for some time now, never ending. This is a wonderful share. Good writing.
