There’s been a myth from quite some time that in a happy, loving and married life; wives show their husbands more affection than their husbands. Well, this affection would include giving him kiss and hug every day while they go out and nagging them less. But the husbands seem to be affectionate to as per recent study.

A team from University of Texas made the research on 168 couples on the four points of their lives, viz. two months after their wedding, their 1st and 2nd anniversaries and later after 13 years. Study showed that women channel their affection by the way as mentioned above. But husbands like to engage in activities with their wives. When husbands are free at home; they like to be with their wives in activities like helping her cook in the kitchen, helping her clean the house around or even engage with her via Sex. Study proved that CUDDLING WAS MORE IMPORTANT FOR MEN TO SHOW THEIR AFFECTION FOR THEIR WIVES.

Wives suppress their tensions and negative thoughts to maintain the health of the good emotional relation they have. While; men on the contrary engage in various activities so that their spouse feel free to talk to them, share their feelings or get intimate. That’s the way men are, their method may be varied and different; but all they seem to do is show affection to their wives.

In fact; study has proven that men have way more methods to show their affection compared to the traditional ways of their wives. For men, who love their wives a lot; try to engage in sex for they feel ‘IT IS AN IMPORTANT CHANNEL TO EXPRESS LOVE.’ Women on the contrary; were not found to initiate on sex much like, so that their husbands get a lead role in that department. After all, women like being taken care of themselves from their husbands.

To be blunt, a book that say ‘MEN ARE FROM MARS & WOMEN FROM VENUS’ feels bit stupid to me, since both men and women look to me been made of same species. Women are more affectionate than their husbands-throw this philosophy out of the window. Methods may be different; but both men and women show equal affection in a well HAPPY MARRIED LIFE.
