A 107-Year-old Malaysian Woman Wants to Marry Again
She has left me wondering exactly what the purpose of marriage is. At 107 she should be preparing to meet her maker, yet here she is, looking for a suitor!
A 107-year-old Malaysian woman was a few years ago married to a 37-year-old man who is 70 years her junior in a colorful ceremony that attracted a great section of the village where she lives. The gaping age difference did not matter to either couples and the young man had the audacity to announce publicly that his 107-year-old wife was God sent.
Recently however, the young man who had to go for some drug related rehabilitation away from home appeared to have decided not to come back to his 107 year old sweet heart. She has made it known to the world that life has become very lonely without her young 37-year-old husband.
In her mind, she feels the young man has deserted her and the only option left is for her to find another man to marry. Infact she is very available for any potential suitor to snatch her away!. It makes me wonder at what age exactly does marriage become an unnecessary venture? I have seen many women for example choosing to live the later parts of their lives all alone because they feel they cannot manage the rigors of a relationship, yet, this 107 year old woman seems to want to start life all over again! I think this is an interesting and serious case of individual difference!

Very interesting article. Maybe by the time we get her age there will be more available singles since long life is getting more common.
