Color combination is a matter of great concern discussion and decision in a wedding. What color are you wearing is the key question for all.’Say it flowers ‘all the way.
All Eastern weddings must have a color scheme. This has to be decided by the family and the wedding couple.
Color of the brides dress on the Big Day- the bridegrooms coat and dress and the children, specially the girls.
Three days of Color
There are three days of color
The ‘Menhdi evening’ which is the night time dance song and ‘Henna ceremony’It usually is ‘Yellow and Green’ The songs are also full of green color words-
’ yellow suit from my in laws
have come as a gift for me
and green green bangles ‘
The boys will either wear white or black shalwar qameez with a colored ‘dupatta’ worn round the neck, hanging down the front.

The Stage
The stage for the two great occasions also has to be of a special color scheme. This task is given to the Event managers
The ‘Mehndi evening ‘reddish ‘tinge’ and the sobriety of the Wedding Day can be seen here.
The ‘Grooms Family with the bride, her dress is all embroidered with gold on red and blue.
Colors bring out the totality of grace on a wedding day.Scores of pictures are taken as everyone is dressed to the best. The beauty of the event is yet in another thing and that is the ‘Flower Choice’
Normally they say that ‘yellow is the traditional color for this ‘mehndi’ ritual, here the bride and groom are touched with the brown mixed powdered green colored paste , a bit of oil and a piece of special sweets .Each married family member (female) come one by one and put a little of all this on the bride and groom. This is to prepare them for the event. The ritual is followed by songs and group dances.
Flowers cannot be avoided’
