Indian Marriage: Music Ceremony

In different state of India marriage ceremony is celebrated in different ways. Every religion has its own ritual, but enjoyment in marriage is almost the same. All marriages have dance, party and happiness and in the India marriage is celebrated for two or three days. First 2 days, there are so many things to enjoy like Mahendi, Mandap Muhurt, and feast with family and relatives gathering.

  Music plays the main role to make a mood. There is lots of type of music play in marriage ceremony. At the mahendi ritual ladies play drums and sing. It is also a joyful moment.

  Every ceremony starts with different music. It makes environment of marriage. Some of them are special for particular occasion; like prelude music is played at initial. It is played during the arrangement and welcome of guest and they being seated before ceremony starts.

   Our mind is affected by music as well. An enchanting slow music can calm your mind, a beautiful romantic music can affect your emotions and music with extreme rock may even pump you up for your workout. It has been known scientifically that our brain and systems are very responsive to the kind of music we listen to.
