If you need help finding the right dress for your big day then here it is. A guide to what shapes suit who and which flowers go with it.
The most important thing on any girls wedding day is her dress. With all the focus on the bride it just has to be perfect but with all the different choices how do you know which one to choose. If you get the style right you can pretty much pull off any colour you want although the traditional white is usually the colour of choice. So take a long look at your shape then follow a few of these handy tips to make your dress all that more special.
If you’re a women who’s on the smaller side then to make the most of your dress you should wear an A-line dress. This will make you look taller and more slender. Try not to cover too much of your skin as this will take away all of the effect, why not expose you back by wearing a low backed dress and avoid the full length skirt to help make the illusion of height. When you choose your dress the straps make all the difference. For more slender women capped sleeves always look great and these body types should avoid going strapless. A big bouquet of flowers will accompany your dress well and show off your figure to the maximum.
If you have a small waist but also have larger hips or a larger behind then you need to attract the attention away from this and to your upper body. You shouldn’t wear anything that is tight around these areas as it will make them look bigger and draw attention to the area. To attract the attention to the upper body and make you look more in proportion then you should expose your arms in a short sleeved or strappy dress. Also exposing the back and a bit of the cleavage will work wonders for your figure. A loose, full length skirt would be prefect as it will help to conceal your bigger areas and make you look to have the perfect figure. Add flowers that are triangular rather than round to complete the look and you’ll have your perfect dress. A bigger bouquet will look best and try to avoid wearing them at your biggest point as this will draw attention to it.
If you have larger breast then you should know these tend to get all the attention. To attract the attention away from these and onto you then you should try an off the shoulder gown. This will also help to avoid any accidents and wardrobe malfunctions. Choose a big bouquet of flowers the shape doesn’t matter as much but usually round bouquets look fantastic. Wear the flowers around your waist as holding them to your breast will attract attention to the area.
If you’re hourglass shape then an A-line dress will extend your height making you look fabulous. If you’re an hourglass you already have all the right curves in all the right places so you can choice almost any style you want as long as you wear it right. I would avoid dresses that are too tight fitting as they can make you seem bigger and ruin your figure. You have a tidy shape so when it comes to the flowers you should choose a small bouquet to keep the attention on you. If you’re a curvy women then the A-line dress will suit you too for the exact same reasons. It will take the attention away from the waist line and will compliment your figure perfectly.
Whatever the colour and whatever your size there’s a wedding dress out there for you. Wear it with confidence, the right flowers and accessories and you’re bound to have a day to remember.
