Bridal shower games should be carefully planned to be suitable for all the guests who will be attending.

If you are planning a bridal shower, the success of your event heavily relies on the types of activities that you will be having, so the bridal shower games you choose are important. As the bridal shower brings together the most important friends and relatives of the bride, it is a must that you come up with games and activities that will suit both guys and gals. Gone are the days when bridal showers are exclusive only to the female friends or female family members of the bride or couple. It’s very common for both male and female guests to be present these days.

You might say that any type of game will suffice for a bridal shower as long as it’s fun and enjoyable. But a well-thought out program and schedule of bridal shower games will ensure that the party will run smooth and everyone attending will have a good time.

Try out a game that stimulates the senses – guessing games and trivia portions are always hilarious. Games like that are often end up revealing some best-kept. Make sure that all guests will be involved. Of course you can’t force all guests to participate in each game because that will be very chaotic. But you can schedule a list of participants for every game so that each guest will be able to partake in the event. If you can think of a type of bridal shower game which lets all guests participate and everything can still be kept under control, then that’s fantastic.

Off Limits

You may want to start the bridal shower with this game. There are certain words which cannot be said during the length of the party. Take note of guests who mess up the most by saying them and them do something at the end of the shower… whatever it is that you want – it’s your call! This is most effective when done at the beginning of the party because it conditions the attendees as to what the further activities for the night are.

The Shower Gift Bag

This game stimulates the senses of guests as they are asked to identify certain objects in the bag, only by certain methods. They may be able hear, touch or smell them. You choose. Then they try to guess what it is.

The Spice Game

This is similar to the shower gift bag game, only this time spices are to be identified based on their smell. Anyone who fails to get it correctly will have to drink a concoction of the spice (Good luck, participants!)

Name Game and Scrambled

Both of these games are intellectually stimulating, as they will ask the participants to form words. The Name Game requires participants to form words from the names of the couples at the shower. With Scrambled, they make words out of wedding related ideas.

They’re playing Our Song Game

This game can come in after dessert as a great way to entertain guests and have fun as well. You will be playing songs and participants will have to guess the title or missing lyrics. Admit it – there’s a singer in every one of us, whether on a karaoke stage or in the shower. So everyone will surely have a great time in with it.
