Before the Wedding:

The best man plans the bachelor party. Besides the traditional stag night, the best man should be imaginative in planning the bachelor party. Some ideas include a golf outing, fishing trip, ski / snowboard vacation in Las Vegas or another trip, or just a dinner for the groom and his friends. Whatever is planned, the best man to collect the money, and all precautions. The groom should not be involved in the planning or the payment for the bachelor party.

It also helps secure the best accommodation to find for out-of-town guests, and coordinate rent tuxedos, limousines and are not used when making the groom comes to the ceremony on time.

In general, the best man is only a good friend, and helps the groom with so much of the wedding planning details as possible.

At the wedding Cermony:

The Best Man is responsible for the production of rings by either holding them or removing them from the ring bearer pillow. He also makes sure the officiant fee is paid. He signs the certificates. He usually accompanied the Maid of Honor

The most memorable and important task for the best man occurs during the reception is the toast, known as the Best Man Speech. This should be more than just a simple toast. It should be either a heart-warming or funny story (preferably both) of the groom. He was the bride as well and the mentionToast wish at the end of the speech should have a long happy marriage.

He was also with the Bride, Maid of Honor and other bridesmaids dancing during the party. Finally, at the end of the reception, he should escort the groom and his bride to her to adopt an exit them.
