Iran Women Football Team
Iran women football team was not allowed to play Olympic qualifier match against Jordan on the context that their dressing didn’t comprehend with FIFA rules. Jordan was given a win without the match, which led Iran women team in tears.
Iran’s team dressing is governed by Iran’s federation which makes it mandatory to wear head scarves covering head and neck completely while playing as well. These rules don’t go very well with FIFA.
