Everyone knows what it is like to need to be quick getting ready in the morning.

Everyone knows what it is like to need to be quick getting ready in the morning. There never seems to be enough time to do anything and so styling the hair can be the last thing on your mind. There are some ways that you can do your hair very quickly and they will not take up that much more time.

Tie It Up

We have all done it – quickly tied out hair up in a bun or pony tail that that it hides the fact that it has not been washed. It need not be a cop out either, a spritz with some styling spray or a rub with some cream and it can smell and look good too. It does not need to take that long either and you hardly need to open your eyes which can be a plus.  Usually you can feel if it is in the right place and if you are still half asleep, it is important to find something simple to do.

Wash in the Shower

If you are in the shower anyway in the morning, you can quickly wash your hair while you wash your body. It need not take that long if you quickly shampoo it and then leave conditioner in while you soap yourself. Drying wet hair can often take longer, but you can wrap it in a towel while you start to get dressed or brush your teeth and then leave it to dry naturally while you are finishing getting everything else done. It may just need a quick blow dry for a few minutes before you step out of the door.

Find Good Styling Products

It is important to find good styling products that suit your hair. Using them in the mornings can save time so you do not have to always wash your hair. Some will be too greasy and need washing out and others will not work hard enough to make your bedhead look tamed. Experiment with different things. Try oils, gels, moose and serum and see what seems to work the best. Use small amounts so that your hair does not get too heavy with products but enough to keep it looking good.

Sleep Sitting Up

This sounds like a joke and partly is really. If you want to stop getting bed head, then it is a solution, but not very comfortable. You can make sure that you tuck your hair down neatly as you put your head on the pillow, which could help it to look better in the morning. Tying it up may also help it to stay looking better.

So there are a number of things that you can try so that you can spend less time working on your hair in the morning. Some lengths and styles will take more looking after and so it is worth discussing this with your hairdresser as they may be able to help you have a style that is easier to manage and does not need so much work each day.
