Personalise Your Gifts
Make occasions more special with unique gift ideas and wrapping options.
Stumped on what to give your friends for her upcoming birthday? Or are you preparing your Christmas gift list this early? So of the best and most meaningful gifts are those that can’t be brought from store. You don’t have to blow your budget on lavish presents with expensive wrappers and fancy ribbons. All you need is to think out of the box and add a personal touch.
Photo Fun
Pictures bring memories that last a lifetime, so dig up your photo prints and digital files for a unique photo gift. The possibilities are endless: T-shirts, calendars, pillows, mouse pads, tote bags and more. A reminder of a memorable out-of-town trips or fun party you had can surely make a loved one smile.
Art Work
If you like to draw or paint, you friend’s portrait or a sketch of his favourite place makes a great present. Into jewellery-making? Design a one-of-a-kind bracelet or necklace and give it to someone who likes bling. Even a simple poem of gratitude can make mum and dad teary-eyed on their anniversary.
Food Favours
Surprise a friend on her special day by whipping up her favourite dish. If you like to bake, a box of your yummy muffins can bring instant holiday cheer.
Embellish
Dress up your gifts by adding small items that tie in the theme of your gift. A rattle or cute toy goes well for a baby gift, while tiny wedding bells complete your bridal shower present. Candy canes or small ornaments make nice additions to your Christmas gifts too.
Think Green
Aside from re-using old ribbons and bows, you can recycle household materials as wrapping paper. Pretty fabrics, wallpaper scraps and even newspapers can make nice wrappers. For unique gift tags, cut out old greeting cards with pinking shears, and save details like an angel or snowman for an artistic touch.

My mother is a sewer. She makes gift bags out of fabric. Recently she gave my brother-in-law and sister their birthday gifts wrapped in a large piece of fabric which she insisted she wanted back. I think she wanted to make table runners out of them. LOL!
Great ideas! Thanks.
