What Shoe are You?

A woman’s personality matching her shoe style.

I was working at the front desk of our gym and Miss Hathaway walked in the door.  Normally I would see her working out  or leaving after a good hard sweat session but not today.  She was coming in, and boy, did she know how to make an entrance.  She was tall, 5’9”, dark hair with reddish high lights in a strange bouffant that suited her very well.  Miss Hathaway was curvy and had eyes that were a molten cognac, and shimmered like chocolate diamonds.  She walked down the main entry way of the gym as if she owned it and at that very moment she certainly did.

As she strolled down the aisle I saw them.  The shoes…what more could I say besides they were fabulous.  Miss Hathaway worked in an office and spent half of her day sitting and the other half on her feet.  Apparently comfort did not matter as these shoes screamed sexy. They were mango, pointed toe, cut out, four inch leather stilettos and need I say more.  I looked at her and the shoes and decided they were a good match for each other.  Miss Hathaway exuded sexiness on a level most women could not even try to attain and her shoes were of the same manner.

I sat back and really started to pay attention to people’s shoes and their owners. Every woman differs in the style of shoe they prefer and to a large degree shoes often display the personality or lifestyle of the person.  In our gym we had people who trained in the top of the line clean sneakers and I realized that these were the pretty people.  They were there for the social life and a light sweat.  There were people who wore sneakers that were mid range, semi worn out for those who were working up a real sweat.  Lastly, there was the hardcore gym rat who either wore nasty flip flops or no shoes at all.  Those are your true gym lovers.  It is the same way outside of the gym.

Every one has to wear shoes or at least in this century they do.  There are an unbelievable selection of styles ranging from ballet flats, to sneakers, flip flops, wood, high heels, boots, and many, many more.   The first shoes came into play as far back as thousands of years ago even if they were as simple as leather sacs tied around someone’s feet.
