My husband had some outside jobs to do recently that would involve more than just a few minutes of his time. The front of the tube claimed that this product helps protect skin from premature ageing. It also stated that it was “ultra sweat proof”, waterproof and non-greasy. That was good to know, as my husband was going to be coming into contact with water. This is a fragrance-free lotion that is hypoallergenic, and protects skin from UVA and UV rays.

Does it Work?

But the important question is: does Banana Boat® Sport Sunblock really work? I was able to judge for myself when my husband returned home. It was obvious that he had been outside in the sun, but unlike previous occasions when he had forgotten to apply any sunscreen or sun block, he did not look as red as a lobster. He said that he had applied two coats of Sport UVA &UV Sun block Lotion by Banana Boat® throughout the day. His arms were not sunburnt and nor was his face. Parts of his body where he had applied Banana Boat® Sport Sunblock still looked slightly red though, but not sore. Overall, this product worked well to protect my husband from exposure to the sun and I would recommend it.
