Men love it when a woman knows what she wants in bed right from the start, especially if she’s adventurous.  Sexual confidence is such a turn on.  Some men would prefer a woman who talks during sex rather than one who is shy and conservative.  To some, sex should be fun, and silence isn’t particularly enjoyable.  Spontaneity would also be ideal to some guys.

Nice Lighting

A little lighting is a good thing, too.  Nothing too bright –nobody’s being interrogated—but seeing your partner should be sexy, so why hide in the dark? A bedroom decorated with lighted candles may give the romantic or kinky effect needed to set the mood.  Most men are turned on by looking at the person they’re making love to, especially for the first time.  Some find having sex in the dark sensual, because the act of having to feel your way around. Mystery and surprise is sometimes the key.

Taking Care of the Details

In order to make the “first time” with a new girlfriend special, some men prefer to take charge of the finer details, including the venue of their choice, preferably their place. Romantic men may give you a massage and champagne in a room decorated with roses.  Men won’t admit it to friends but, secretly, a lot of us want first time sex to be romantic.  Then, if you can keep that lust and passion going and still revive it months or years later, sex can be absolutely amazing.  A perfect first time may involve an open fire, a scene by the beach or lake, a bottle of wine with the woman of their dreams.  It could actually happen in a living room while watching HBO and after having a pizza, what matters most is that the right two people are involved.
