Top Reasons Men Don’t Call Back

Okay, here’s the situation, you’ve given a guy a number after what you thought was a great night and are still waiting for a call days later. What is going on? Men are infamously known for not calling and leaving women wondering why: here are 3 reasons they don’t call back.

1. He is nervous.

I know it may come as a surprise to you girls but guys get just as nervous as you.  If he thinks he is going to make a fool out of himself and stammer on the phone with you he might just not call. 

2. He’s just not that into you.

This is the least liked reason a guy may not be calling. Girls sometimes do this to guys when they give out their number.  The guy calls and leaves a voice message and the girl just never calls back.  It’s easier to just not call than it is to tell someone that you’re not interested. Nobody wants to hurt the other’s feelings, but it’s sad that it leads to confusion for the other person.

3. He doesn’t want to seem desperate

When a guy really likes you he definitely doesn’t want to mess it up.  Sometimes they start over analyzing everything including when the right time to call you is.  There’s a thing called the three day rule men believe in saying that he shouldn’t call you for three days…. There’s also a train of thought that if he really likes you he shouldn’t call you back at all. There’s a good chance that he’s not calling so that he can (in his mind) think he’s seeming very cool  that it will make you want him even more.
