A break up kit is supposed to help you get over being dumped not keep you down in the dumps.

Okay, you have just broken up with someone….what do you do? Your first instinct may be to sit on your couch, with three day old mascara running down your face…. after you have found the saddest movie ever to watch. Why sit around with a box of Kleenex and watch Titanic sink to melancholy music blaring, when you could pull yourself together with a few simple things?

Antioxidant Face mask & rose bath soak:

After you have had your initial crying session or fit of rage, go to the kitchen and boil a carrot until it is tender. Mash it up with an avocado. Add the mixture to ½ cup of heavy cream, 1 egg, and 3 Tsp of honey. Mix this until it is smooth. This will be your antioxidant face mask. Set it aside. Now, take ½ cup of fresh or prepackaged coconut milk and mix with any of the following 1 cup of fresh rose petals, ½ cup of rose water, or one Tsp of rose oil. This will be your moisturizing bath soak. * Save the coconut to use bellow. Bring your face mask and rose bath to the bathroom. Poor the rose bath soak into a warm tub of water. Spread the face mask on and dim the lights. Soak for 15 minutes, rinse your mask off, and put on your comfortable PJ’S.

Head to the T.V room and put these movies in:

Make yourself a Pina Colada.

  • 3 oz of light rum
  • 2-3 tsp of crushed pineapple
  • 4 tsp coconut milk

Blend all three ingredients with 2 cups of crushed ice on high for 30 sec- 1 min.

Munch on Chef Lauren’s “Pineapple Vegetarian Ball.” See the recipe here.

Pamper yourself with some Godiva chocolate. Yeah, it’s expensive, but you have already used my tips on how to reuse old stuff article here to cut cost. So, just indulge yourself.

Give yourself a pedicure. Ruby Hawk explains that here.

So, there you have it. This will get you though day one, but the rest is up to you!
