If I Were Your Woman and You Were my Man

Can you wait for him to walk away or will you call it a day and get on with your life.
If I were your woman and you were my man, we would be holding hands as tight as we can. You walk at a pace to leave a space between you and your basket case. Why are you there if you don’t care? Life is too short to be in dispair. Take the walk if you dare, stop being an old teddy bear.
I am the one who can make you smile, but I won’t be part of this life style. Can you walk away? Cause that’s the only way we are going to play. How long is it going to take for you to make the break? I want to celebrate.
Don’t let it be too late, I just might look for another date.

Nice hopeful poem. However, I don’t think I want to wait for a man who won’t get out of a bad relationship. He will probably bring some of the old relationship’s issues with him.

Nice piece, but I want a man who is free to be with me. I don’t want to wait around, just in case he becomes free. I think better of myself.

What can I say, I enjoyed reading this, but I have my man and we do all we can to stay in love.

Nice work. When you are not part of a relationship, standing on the outside looking in, you can see where you would do something different, until you get that person and then it is another story.
