A review of a hit tv show series.
Introduction:
Abcfamily has a new hit tv show called Pretty Little Liars. Lately I’ve seen this show advertised everywhere. This show is perfect. It’s filled with it’s main ingredient, mystery. Next, you add suspense, then a sprinkle of romance and a hit of humor and there you have Pretty Little Liars.
Overview:
This show takes place in a small town called Rosewood where nothing ever happens. The show is centered around four teenage girls who all have something to hide. There names are Hanna, Spencer, Emily, and Aria. They each have horrible secrets which make their lifes’ complicated and makes you stay on the edge of your seat. Only one person did each of the girls trust to confide in with these secrets. Her name was Allison. Allison was the queen bee of their clique. They all became best friends when Allison decided to take them under her wing. Of course they couldn’t pass up the thought of being popular. Sadly, all was not well in paradise. She started hinting towards their secrets around the others in a very subtle way. They noticed it but chose to ignore what Allison was doing. She just started just being plain mean to them. Then Allison goes missing and is later found murdered. Of course they were horrified and heartbroken, but at least they were safe right? No one else knew their secret, so their secrets were safe. Or so they thought.
It’s the start of the school year and the girls reunite again only to be tested until the brink of hysterics. They begin receiving horrible messages from a person who goes by the name of A. The text threaten to tell their secrets unless they do horrible things that drag them deeper into the A game while they try to figure out who A is. A tortures them day and night. The strangest thing is A always seems to be there, always watching, waiting for them to mess up. We find out the pretty little liars’ secrets. Aria’s secret is that she saw her dad cheating on her mom and didn’t tell her and that she’s dating her english teacher. Spencer’s secret is that she has made out with her sister’s past two boyfriends and she stole her essay. Hanna’s secret is that she is bulmic and that’s how she lost all that weight. Emily’s secret is that she is a lesbian. In those three seasons, friendships are tested, secrets are revealed and lies are told. Season three ends with all of the liars’ secrets out in the open. They go to a masquerade party with a plan to unmask A. Let’s just say things don’t go as planned. Anyway, in the end we find out A is Mona. This realization shatters Hanna. She just can’t come to terms that their friendship was all a lie. Although everyone was relieved that the A game was over. Sadly the A game is never over.
