Giving a Special Gift: Friendship Rings

Fewer things exist that are as precious as a memento of friendship. Items like friendship rings, bracelets or other tokens are admiringly displayed with pride by girls to show a secret connection that goes just a little deeper than “friends”.
Many young girls feel this need to share with a best friend that affection that shows “we’re going to be friends forever.” Having been a young girl yourself you likely empathize with your little daughter that is seeking the perfect gift for friends. If your own daughter doesn’t make the suggestion, perhaps you can suggest to her the power and value behind friendship rings.
Many of the friendship gems passed between girls go through trends but the most common friendship tokens are friendship rings. Many young girls will find two rings (one that says “best” and the other that says “friends”) to share with a special girl friend. The hope behind giving friendship rings is that two friends will remain together forever. Perhaps friendship rings were fashioned after the symbolism of the circle which represents never ending—a characteristic many friends hope to have with friendship.
Friendship rings can also be accompanied by a friendship bracelet or rather a friendship bracelet can replace a friendship ring if the girls like bracelets over rings. You might enjoy it because bracelets are usually cheaper than friendship rings anyway. The point of the token is to show two girls that are friends—or perhaps show that they are even more than friends. These are tokens to show that these girls share something similar that no other person has—in this case a unique friendship ring or other token.
No matter if your daughter needs a few or many friendship rings you can help your daughter give a special gift to her friends. If your daughter has a lot of people she would like to give rings to perhaps you can suggest she makes them all so they each are made from the heart—while you are saving a bundle her friends will get a special treat.
Whether you have a daughter that has the most accepting heart and thinks every person is her friend and deserves a friendship ring or you have a girl that has felt the special kinship of having one person she can trust over all others in the world the gesture of giving a friendship ring is one you should full heartedly endorse. Help your daughter give a special gift to a friend by suggesting or helping her choose friendship rings.
