Sexual confidence is an acquired trait and not something you are born with. It is not impossible to pick up. Sexually confident women are positive with their sexual power. They enjoy sex and believe they have what it takes to make men weak in the knees. They are secure about their sexuality. Here are some tips to boost your sexual confidence.

Love Your Body

Have a positive body image. Get flat chests and flabby bellies off your mind. Flaunt your curves and be confident about it. Jot down a list of body parts you like most. Look over the list and say ‘I love my body, beautiful as it is’ once a day. In no time, this mantra will become part of your subconscious.

Check your confidence: Face the mirror and look at yourself naked, focusing on your stomach, thighs, etc. Remind yourself how sexy and desirable you are.

Be Open in Bed

Don’t be embarrass and guide your guy to what pleases you and where you want to be touched.  By being forthright, you are taking charge of your pleasure and asserting your right as a sexual being.

Check your confidence: Tell him where you’d most like him to kiss/touch, and why. He’ll be encouraged and turned on by your forwardness.

Make the First Move

Take the initiative in bed. When you want sex, you initiate sex. Don’t worry about how your daringness comes across to him. He’ll be glad he won’t have to make the first move for a change.

Check your confidence: Cuddle up to your guy and run your fingers up and down his arms, then give him a naughty look that says, ‘Want to get busy?’

Be an Unselfish Lover

Sexually confident women are receptive to their partner’s needs and generous with their affection in bed. Knowing how you can turn your partner on by doing what he likes and by sharing yourself with him will boost your sexual confidence.

Check your confidence: Ask your guy what his favorite sex position is, or what sex move he’d like you to try. Try it immediately.

Don’t Take It Too Seriously

It’s important to be at ease with yourself when you are having sex. If something unexpected occurs in the middle of the act, just have a chuckle and move on. Sexually confident women are always able to bounce back from an embarrassing incident because they know that making love isn’t a mechanical, scripted act.

Check your confidence: Next time something mortifying occurs in bed, laugh it off. Your sense of humor will put him at ease.
