Should You Really Regret Saying I Love You

It takes courage to fall in love and express it verbally. But did you get hurt when you found out that your partner did not want to reply to you with I love you too? If your answer is yes then this is your article!

We are no more in the arranged marriage era. Men and women have the freedom to choose their own partners. In fact, love happens now before marriage. Of course, that is how things should be. But there are some people who are afraid of the three words, “I love you”. Yet they do not hesitate to keep someone in their grab to play the game of boyfriend and girlfriend. Unfortunately, when their partners tell them the three words they do not make an effort to reciprocate it. As stated before, they fear the L- word.

Now if you are someone who has said I love you to their partner, but has not got it back as a reply do not regret. First of all, you must know that you are courageous and powerful enough to not only fall in love, but also reveal it through words. This is not at all a mistake. Yes, not hearing I love you back has hurt you.

But remember, your partner’s silence has given you the opportunity to know who he or she is. In short, they have no interest in loving you and thus, they have played with your heart. Do not wait for them to fall for you after some weeks or months. See their silence as a red flag and move on so you meet the right partner-someone who will not only love you for who you are, but also honor your words and courage.

Once again, never regret saying I love you. You used them because you truly fell for your partner. And there is really nothing wrong with that.
