Love Stinks

Being a woman. one wants to be married. However, boyfriend isn’t so sure. Time is ticking.
My best friend liked me. I love my boyfriend. I wish I could hold the least feeling for my best friend because he is perfect, but can never have such. My boyfriend shows nothing but love, yet I still can’t figure out why I must make a fuss. Yes, love stinks!
We both were in a past relationship. Yet like some paperback novel I cringe at the thought of my boyfriend’s ex. She sang in his band. She probably, most likely had sex with him. He held a picture of her and his band in a mantel in his home and not mine. He gave me a used I pod that says her name, and has her music, and her voice. Ugh. Yes, I repeat, love stinks.
The story continues as I want marriage, and a family. He doesn’t. But I love him. I love this man dearly. All I can do is be patient. But for how long? Each time, the clock tics. Tic toc, tic toc.
I can leave, and find someone suitable. However, I have bonded with this man. It’s not fair, ladies, love stinks.
But there are so many scenarios and women who are married and unhappy. Being single is not to be taken for granted. Too bad the clock tics, or else, I’d find it my commodity.
