FEET AWAY

Point your feet away from him and don’t copy his gestures. Doing this breaks the intimate zone that a romantic couple would naturally create with each other and shows a potential date you’re open to him.

SPACED OUT

Sit on chairs, not sofa, and don’t lean in too close. Go to the bar often and take your time there. By buying some of the drinks you’ll make it obvious you’re not on a date as, in that situation, a man would buy most of them.

EYES RIGHT

Look at your friend when he’s talking, but glance away during conversation lulls to show you are open to being chatted up. You could even use your eyes to invite another man to join in. Try looking at him, looking away, then back again.
