Got first date jitters? Learn how to make men melt and feel like queen of the dating scene.

First dates are supposed to be fun. Unfortunately, most single gals spend so much time primping themselves, figuring out what to say, and worrying about the outcome that they let the nervousness overshadow the excitement. It doesn’t have to be that way!

Here are a few dating rules to live by for that all-important first date.

  1. Power To The Princess

There’s nothing wrong with being a little high maintenance. It may sound old-fashioned, but girls, it’s ok to let a man help you out of the car, open doors, and pay for dinner. That’s what they’re there for! Guys definitely don’t want a pushover, but they do want someone that makes them feel appreciated. You can still be a strong-minded, independent woman and let your date cater to your needs, just don’t be a diva.

  2. Take The Bait

Like we said, it’s not ok to be a diva. But it is ok to let your date make you feel like you rule! Let him compliment you and take the bait. Be cute about it. Boys should always know, flattery will get you everywhere!!!

  3. Show Some Skin

Have fun with your look and take that man’s breath away. Wear high heels and a mini. Get your hair blown out. Wear a sexy camisole, without showing off too much cleavage. Be a tease, within reason. You want him begging for more, but you don’t want to look like that street corner hooker. Don’t be afraid to unleash that sexy vixen, within reason!

  4. Flirt Like There’s No Tomorrow

Be yourself on the first date. But along the way, step up the flirting with these powerful plays. Laugh, giggle, and smile. Maintain eye contact. Bat those pretty little eyelashes. Draw attention to your lips by licking them after a sip of your drink. Be sneaky and cross your arms over your chest when you know he’s looking! Groping is not allowed, but a little touch on the arm really does the trick. Lean in and really listen to what he’s saying. Laugh at his stupid jokes. Don’t forget to tell him how much fun you’re having! Act interested and you’ll captivate him with that mega-watt smile.

  5. Conversation Is Key

Witty banter is nice, but the real deal will want a little more. A little more talking, that is. Ice breakers are a fun way to start a convo, but the best way to keep that chemistry coming is to really get to know each other by talking seriously about interesting subjects. No, that doesn’t mean you have to debate the War in Iraq… instead, talk about your families, your favorites, even your first times! (i.e. First time in a foreign country, first time drinking, and if you dare, that other first time.)

  6. Just Say No! To Distractions

Clubs are the perfect adrenaline pumpers, but blaring sound systems won’t allow for convenient chatter. If you really want to have a nice first date, take it to a coffees shop. You can chat for hours and if the date is not going so well, it’s an easy way to let the man go after an hour. Still want the party scene? Ask your date to take you to a local lounge where you can sip cocktails and chat during dance breaks.

First dates are nerve wracking, but they don’t have to be. Follow these easy rules and you’ll be queen of the dating scene.

I dont know if the ones out there will carry on talking but maybe they will I hope so,
all the ones I ever saw went for the dopey nothing guy with no life , no nothing, so I weary about whether this is right or not??
