Taking care and helping your loved ones is as important as taking care of yourself. Because taking care and doing things for the people that you love, always reflects upon you and makes you feel needed and wanted. Even if you have nobody in your life but a loving a baby kitten to love and nurture, doesn’t it make you feel good to put down his or her water? His or her food? To hold and cuddle the kitten? To have your kitten purr and play with you? What feeling do you get of all that? The answer is love
Love is one of the most strongest emotions that we have. It can be extremely beautiful or extremely dangerous. It can make you feel on top of the world or it can leave you with a shattered heart. Love creates, love destroys. Many of us have some body to love and it is best to nurture the ones that we love and to do special things fo them. It may be our children, husbands, boyfriends, friends, parents, siblings and pets. Let’s try to make them feel more special. Just because we love them.
If you are married or engaged or just have a boyfriend, try to do something nice for your beau at least twice a week. If they love steak and baked potatoes, make it for them. Put a dozen roses on the table and also candles. Do their laundry for them. Take their suits to the dry cleaners. Try washing their car for them. Take him out for dinner and a show. Buy his favorite cologne. Buy him that CD he always wanted. Do you notice how your heart gleams with bliss?
If you have children, do something special for them, so that they will feel more appreciated. Read them bed time stories, have out their favorite snacks when they get home from school. Praise the drawings, the art projects or paintings that they bring home from school, even though you think they can do better. Spend more time with your children and they will grow up to love and appreciate you as a parent. And when children are truly loved and cared for by their parents, they are less likely to get themselves into drugs, crime and other problems when they get older. And they will grow up, knowing that they have great parents that showed them the right way into the world.
If you have friends and most of us do, be there for them when they need you. Go to concerts, movies, clubs. Go to parties or just sit home and watch cable. Have fun! Treat all of your friends with respect and caring, and they will do the same with you.
Always treat your parents with love and respect. Your parents have done their best to raise you and tell you right from wrong. Always be there for your parents and care for them when they get sick. You will feel more love and your parents will very much appreciate your rightful doings.
If you have siblings, try to keep in touch. Even if your brother and or sister are out of state, call them often as you want. Always send them Christmas presents and birthday cards. Keep it alive!
If you have pets, make sure that you feed them and give them water. Go ahead and play with them. Buy them toys and give them treats. And always let them feel comfortable. Most of all, let them have their space. Make sure that their living quarters are safe and sanitary. If you are good to your pets, your pets will be good to you. You will have a special little friend, one that loves you and loves your company.
When you love somebody and show them how much you love them, the love is so powerful you feel it so much inside. Yes, love is a beautiful thing. So take proper care of your loved ones!
