Surviving On One Income

In the year 2006 it seems almost impossible to survive with the thought of only one income coming in. Which forces many women out to the workforce. Meanwhile many children have to suffer the consequences. When in all reality this just isn’t the case.

When you look at your monthly income you can see that what you are bringing in goes to a lot of wants not needs that you must live by. Lets face it. In a family where both parents are working, where does the family eat their meals? Not at home! Most money is spent on eating out. A home cooked meal is a rarity. And family quality time gets put on the back burner most of the time.

What is more important to our kids? A happy meal? Or a family dinner where everyone is present spending quality time with each other.

There are many bills which can be avoided when you just sit down and weigh the evidence you will see you are actually spending more money by having two incomes coming in then you would if the head of the home was working and the wife was at home tending to the duties of the wife! One thing for sure is the stress level would come down about 75% in most cases!

When a Godly family finally realizes the need for the mother to come home from the workforce. Then order can be established in the home. Until then expect chaos because that is what you are sowing! Yes the woman is to be the helpmeet of her husband and if he needs something of her to be done she should be willing to do what is needed.

What brings joy unbelievable is having a mother at home with her children and seeing them grow. Training them in the way they should go. Children grow so quickly. Quality time with them is so precious. One should do it while they can.

If you say to yourself , “but there is no way possible that I could quit my job to come home and be with my husband and children, we just couldn’t afford it and the bills we owe are unreal.” Then take it to the Lord in prayer and see what he will show you. Ask him to show you where you can actually save money by being home. No childcare expenses, no eating out unless it’s a special event, no gas for transporting back and forth, and just what is your time worth. Let me tell you a lot!!! Once you weight the evidence the lie that you have been being told is about to be brought forth. You can actually see the light! The shining light! Its time for mothers across the world to come home to their children. Leave the workplace., and be a mother!
