Abortion

Abortion is the removal of a fetus from the uterus resulting in death of that Fetus . If you wanted this done you would have to have it done with in the first month of the pregnancy. There are complications with abortion you could also die from doing this procedure.

Now I am going to explain the history of abortion. The colonies inherited English Common Law and largely operated under it until well into the 19th century. English Common Law forbade abortion. Abortion prior to quickening was a misdemeanor. Abortion after feeling life of the unborn child was a felony this punishment inherited from earlier ecclesiastic law, stemmed from earlier knowledge regarding human reproduction . In the early 1800s it was discovered that human life did not begin when she “felt life,” but rather at fertilization. One by one, across the middle years of the 19th century, every then-present state passed its own law against abortion. By 1860, 85% of the population lived in states which had prohibited abortion with new laws. Abortionists if convicted were sent to jail for varying lengths of time. There is no record of any having been executed. In 1967 Colorado and California legalized abortion. By June, 1970, when the State of New York passed the first Abortion on Demand Law (24-week limit), it be-came the 16th state to allow abortion. Due to an extremely loose interpretation of “mental health,” California also had defacto abortion-on-demand. Alaska and Hawaii had liberal laws. Laws in the other 12 states, which included Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina and Virginia, were very restrictive, typically allowing abortion only for pregnancies due to assault rape, incest and life of the mother as well as for severe fetal handicap.

Now you hear what other people felt on this subject. I have interview my mother and asked her these questions , how do you feel About abortions if you where in a certain situation what would you do and do you think its wrong or right? These where her answers , she said it depends on the person if you where in a situation where you could care for a baby would you want to have that baby. For the second question she stated that if she really had to she probably would do it . And for the third question she had told me that it might be wrong but you have to do what you have to do to survive in life. I asked my friend to answer these same questions and her response was a little bit different. Here what she had to say , “I don’t agree with it because killing babies it bad it taking a life away. This was her answer for the second question if she had a certain situation She would still have and care for the baby. And here what she had to say for Third question “I believe it is wrong”.

My opinion on this subject is quiet different I think the that the government should not fund or support abortion. I think it is wrong and unmoral if you have a abortion it is the same thing as taking a living person life I personal think if you could get abortion what stopping you from begin a murder in my eyes. If you didn’t want a baby you should of been more careful or shouldn’t be doing what you were doing to get pregnant .
