Abortion Wtf?

An extremely interesting paper about a young man that faces his loose girlfriend’s abortion.
An embryo is not just a mass of cells. An embryo is a human being in its early stages of life. Who has the right to deny someone their right to live? Last time I checked, when the life of one person was taken by another person, it was considered murder, but abortion is supposed to be different? I do not believe this is right. Abortion is killing a young baby. It is the same as murder! The phrase “mass of cells” seems to me like an attempt to sugar-coat the facts of this imperative issue, but it shouldn’t. An embryo is a young, defenseless, human being! If society decides to accept abortion as ridding the world of a couple “inconveniences” or “accidents,” as a simple form of birth control, what will be the next step? How far will society go? No matter how you look at it, abortion is absolutely immoral and wrong.
What defines a human? What is murder? Is abortion really the same as murder? One expert states, “Even one-celled creatures are alive. What is growing in the woman is more than a one-celled creature” (Slick 1). The same expert also states, “Humans are not humans because they have feet, hands, walk vertically, and speak, etc. They are humans because of their nature” (Slick 1-2). So, just because the fetus is unable to speak for itself and lives inside of its mother, it is not a human? Wrong. A fetus already has its own DNA, which makes it its own individual. It lives inside its mother; he/she is not a part of its mother! When a mother argues that it is her body, she can do as she pleases, she is incorrect. It is not her body; the baby has its own body which only feeds off of hers. Many babies that are aborted are actually old and mature enough to survive outside the mother’s womb. Many helpless humans, such as people in a coma, the mentally challenged, or even the handicapable can be compared to the young fetus. Just because they are physically and/or mentally
