Seven of the Strangest and Funniest Handbags You’ll Ever See

A look at some very strange handbags.

In today’s world handbags are a necessity but to what extent would we go to have the most fashionable of handbags. The rage today is the designer bags of which I refuse to participate in but, to each his own, when it comes to handbags. The attention of detail seems to be very important to some gals where others seem to not care about detail as much as practicality. How far would you go in getting an eye popping handbag? Let’s take a look at some of what’s available.

The designer of this bag must have had muggers in mind.  This could be a little farfetched from what I am use to.

This designer is certainly gone to the dogs. While these are very cute you would have to be a very big lover of dogs to carry this around and for a Mom with a couple of kids I really can’t see the practicality of this one either. Maybe it would be more suitable for the preteen years.

Leaping Lizards! Oh no, that’s a Frog. Well this one would certainly raise some eyebrows so if its attention you’re after I’m sure this one would do it. You would really have to love reptiles to carry a purse like this.

It’s like taking your computer everywhere you go. This is definitely for the computer lover. If you don’t have a lap top then this could help with the withdrawals from your computer while you shop or at least you will have the key board if your fingers get itchy.

These are for the musically inclined. You really have to have a love for Elvis to carry this around which I’m sure there are many out there that do. I can’t quite see myself indulging in something like this no matter how big a fan I am. At least with this bag there is certainly enough room for all you need to take with you.

This Armadillo would certainly be an armful! Now this is a gem of a bag, it has no room but could prove to be an eye popper. I personally wouldn’t want to carry this one around but then you never know there are some people that would love the uniqueness of this bag.

They can call me chicken and their right I would refuse to carry this. Does this one scream class to you? I think not but you never know what one man’s (or should I say women’s) meat is another man’s poison. Nope, this is not for me but it could come in handy for collecting eggs I suppose.

So there you have it, if you already own one of these bags then Good Luck, if you don’t then you have to decide if you really want one. As for me, I think I will stick with my little black, conservative bag that I bought at Wall Mart for $19.95.

Everyone teases me about the “suitcases” I carry around. But I need all this stuff: a bottle of water, a coffee mug (to be environmentally friendly, and because I hate to drink from paper cups), a book or two, a crochet project (in case I havea to wait somewhere), plus all the stuff normal women carry. I love that game where you call out an item (like a paper clip or a nail file) and see who can dig one out of her purse first.

    Yaffel
This is the “cat’s meow!” How come there wasn’t a cat bag? heehee. I am like Karen, I need a big satchel to carry my stuff (books, often a thin line Bible, small note book, maps (yeah I am still finding my way around Oregon) etc, etc, etc, ) and my dad’s medical information. Now trying to find one that is light enough not to send me to the chiropractor on a weekly basis has been a trick. I had a wonderful laugh with this article, you are so clever and creative.

Great collection. Some of these are just too funny, others are just too odd. I think…no I know…that I would pass on all of these.
