Juicy Couture is a popular new brand on the market since 1996. The designers originally made their first design as Travis jeans a name which sounds less glamorous and stylish. Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor founded the cute girly line of apparel which became popular towards 2004. The Juicy bags are especially hot. Madonna who wore the first velour track suit made the brand become a hit on the hot list of trendy styles. The Juicy Couture brand targets younger ladies with their youthful line and also those who would want to sport a more youthful look.

What’s hot with Juicy Couture

Juicy Couture features eye catching and fun loving slogans in their designs. Their décor makes their casual clothing appear glamorous and luxurious.  Wearing a Juicy velour track set like that style worn by Madonna instantly gives one an upper-class modern look. Juicy Couture is a brand of luxury and comfort.  Bash in style with their signature bag and track suit.

One of the major attractions of the Juicy Couture brand are their velour bags with the fancy logos and the skilled detailed embroidery which makes any outfit become attractive. The embroidery and décor on the bags makes the purchases of the bags a worthwhile deal which offers an alternative to the Coach Lover bags.

The Juicy line which started with apparel now expands with cosmetics, jewelry, handbags, and children’s clothing making it easier to sport the whole Juicy Couture look from head to toe.

The Not so Hot

Although Juicy Couture is a luxury brand their clothing material are not of high quality which makes buying their apparel not very worth it due to the price tags. Most of their t-shirts are made of cotton with simple Juicy slogan but are priced at $30 and up. Some of their track jackets or hoodies are also made of cheap cotton but again carry high prices.

Even worse some jackets do not even have any Juicy logos on them to show that one is actually wearing Juicy and not some cheap brand. While paying for the brand name, no one will be able to tell a part the jacket from a regular old navy look-alike.

Juicy Couture offers limited style on their bags or purses. They offer the same velour style on the side bag and no leather bag which would actually be more durable. Juicy is no offering a vinyl polyester body bag or messenger bag which is also priced cheaper than their velour sling bag.  Yet, the material is still not as good as a leather bag which is offered by Coach, another famous luxury brand.

All in all, Juicy offers an alternative for cute stylish bag lovers of luxury brands and not a over the top cost like LV, Gucci, and Prada. If you want to change your style from Coach bags then Juicy brand is for you. Stay away from regular cotton jackets with no logos since there’s no distinction of it from any ole brand. Some nice logos and décor on track jackets for fitted tees at discount prices are definitely worth the bargain to complete your chic look.  Juicy Couture headquarters located in an industrial area in Arleta, Los Angeles, California; the city of high-end fashion so you know you can trust Juicy Couture to provide you with some of the hottest and trendiest looks.

It still amazes me that people are willing to pay a few bucks for the actual garments, but hundreds if necessary for a label. Someone once gave my grandfather a few old Versace shirts that they were going to throw out. Despite being worth several hundred dollars, I don’t think they were that superior to the cheap shirts he already had in his closet. (But it was fun to see the look on people’s faces when they found out the grease encrusted shirts he was wearing while on the tractor were Versace!)
