Ways to Dress Fashionably and Keep Your Faith

A lot of the fashion today is beautiful and looks great on women, but at the same time many of the shirts,
dresses, skirts, and pants are too low, or short. Shirts have deep v-necks that are designed to show some
cleavage, pants are hard to find anything other than low rise, skirts many times are so short that if you
bend over your butt is exposed. It’s hard for us Christian women to dress fashionably and look good, while
trying to keep with how the Bible says we should dress.

Even when we try sometimes I just doesn’t look right, or we look frumpy or like old women (no offense to the older
ladies). The Bible has many different verses that talks about how a woman should dress in a way that does not draw
attention to herself. There are ways to dress very fashionably that do not draw attention to yourself and holds
true to what the Bible says. But not just Christian women want to keep modest, many women don’t enjoy the look
some of the fashionable clothing has. There are ways to stay modest.

Lets start off with shirts. If you like the look of a V-neck, but don’t want to bear it all so to speak,
you can wear a cute camisole underneath to give it an extra umph. Or you could wear a simple tank top or
even a tube top. Black and white are two very versatile colors that pretty much go with any other color.
If the v-neck is a tank top like shirt, you could wear a white or black dress shirt underneath to give
more covering and a business look to the shirt. If you are going out and want to look all cute and adorable you can wear a nice silky tank top with a dark jean jacket over top, or a halter top with one of those short
cover shirt things.

Halter tops are always a cute shirt to wear with jeans or black dress pants. If you don’t
want your back exposed you can wear a button-up sweater or a cover shirt that ties in front over top. The neck
of your shirts shouldn’t go farther than an average necklace. In the winter a nice button or zip up sweater over
top a tank top looks very cute. Turtle necks, though the come up high on your neck came look good with a pair of
jeans and a short jean jacket over top. Add a necklace and a bracelet to complete the look. You want to make sure that when you bend over the shirt down flop down and bear everything that you are trying so hard to cover up.

Skirts are very tricky thing. They are the one of three things that you must try on before you buy them. While in
the dressing room sit down on the ledge they have to see how far up the skirt will go when you sit, and crouch down
to see how high it will come up. You don’t want everyone to know what color underpants you have on. You can find
skirts and dresses even that look wonderful and aren’t hiked up too high. You can look amazing with dresses and
skirts to your mid-thigh, knees, or even slightly past the knee. You also need to know what would look good on your body type which is another reason why you would want to try on skirts and dresses before you buy them. No to mention
skirts and dresses that tend to bear it all, don’t look that great on many women any way. If you also like the off
the shoulder look, that’s good too, just make sure that it doesn’t go too far down that would bear all up top. Add a
wonderful necklace and your look is complete.

Shorts are another tricky thing to find that work with not drawing attention to yourself. One thing is for sure,
ladies you do not want the shorts that have the little sayings on the back. If you don’t want attention drawn to
yourself, do not wear anything that says “juicy” or “hot stuff” on your rear. Now a days shorts are always too
short for us modest, conservative women. We have to search high an low for shorts that fit right. Shorts are another
thing that we want to try on to see how high they go when we sit or bend, because they too can display the color of

our underpants.

One thing you can never go wrong with are caprice. They are short enough to be more comfortable in
the heat than jeans, and they look adorable with tank tops and tee shirts. Pair them with cute flats and some nice
jewelery and you have a winning look that makes you look lovely and still keeps you as modest as you like.

Pants are another tricky thing to find. Sometimes the low rise jeans are too low rise, that when you sit down
you rear end is hanging out and no body wants that. Low rise pants can be ok if you have a long shirt to cover
or if they stay where they belong when you sit down or bend over. If you are fortunate enough to find pants that
are not low rise you can couple them with a nice top and some awesome shoes. The boot cut jeans are of course great with jeans and a silky top or a nice cotton top. Whatever is comfortable for you works the best. If you
found pants with a decent rise, you can wear it with a cute shirt that comes just below the tops and wear an
adorable belt, or even wear a belt over the shirt if it comes low enough.

Whatever you wear you can make it look modest and spice it up a little more with accessories like jewelery, belts,
and even cute hats. There are many hats that look wonderful with any outfit, not to mention working with your hair
and make-up. There are ways to remain modest in a not so modest fashion world. You don’t have to bear everything
that God gave you in order to look good for work, a date, or a night on the town with the girls. Happy shopping!
