Supermodels

Have you ever wondered how those supermodels holding the huge Gucci bottles of perfume pay for it with just a walk down the runway?  Have you ever wondered how those supermodels paid thousands of dollars for shoes and thousands of dollars for outfits?  Inquisitive and aspiring minds would like to know.  Always wanted to be a model but pragmatically concluded that a college education was more important?  Have you figured out why those supermodels gets to wear and to sometimes actually get to keep those thousand dollar shoes, clothes perfume and handbags.  One may say these supermodels struggle from modeling projects with uncertainty of the next check.  It is understandable that they have their problems too.   Why then designers do you put those magazine advertisements in the hands of mere college graduates who nonexistent thousands of dollars have go to rent and tuition?  Supermodels and designers are you tempting the average Americans making them lust after yet another thing out of their reach?  The audacity to waltz through those pages and on the TV screen in these tough economic times.   If only 3 to 5% of the populations is able to afford these garments and accessories, why not show the viewers and readers the Target and Wal-Mart version? Macy’s and Dillard’s could be the go between level for the two income families.  Those glossy advertisements of designer clothes on super thin supermodels would still be out of reach.  Supermodels and designers, you all are doing a great job strutting and keeping Americans dreaming.  Should we click our heels three times and land in your shoes?
