Short and Sexy
Cannot find anything to fit your petite frame?
Skirts
Generally, the more leg you show, the taller you look. But, if you are uncomfortable about showing too much skin, opt for the visually-elongating A-line pleated skirt. Alternatively, try bubble skirts, mermaid cuts, asymmetrical hemlines, wrap or pencil skirts to accentuate curves on a boyish body. Stiff fabrics such as crushed velvet, denim, corduroy and tweed also flatter petite frames.
Pants
You are in luck this season! Cropped (three-quarter and Capri) pants are all the rage this season, look perfect on you! Pair it with vertical lines, open jackets and V-necklines to appear taller. Just make sure the layering is not too bulky and the colour visually elongates your body. It is always safer to choose complementary shades to create a continuous flow. If you are going for contrasting shades, make sure to team up with heels to visually add more inches to your frame.
Dresses
When it comes to choose the right frock, it is all down to the right cut and colour. Certain cuts drown you as would certain colours. To avoid looking like your clothes are wearing you, go for empire-line dresses, princess cuts and V-necklines. Stick to fabrics that are soft and flow to fit well with your delicate frame. Bright tones, whites or off-whires are most flattering.
