A design is always full of positive vibes which appeals to the viewer, though negative vibes work well if put in right place with right design sense.

Tips to work for inspiration

  • Have an open mind to let in any idea inside your mind.

Don’t filter any idea saying it wound work or it sounds funny… Designer brings new ideas because there are ready to accept new thought and experiment new methods.Keep it in your mind“a person who has never done any thing wrong has never tried any thing new”and also think of using roads less traveled. A designer once told me “try to bring in some thing new so that people say “that’s new” rather than playing with old silhouettes and making them say “the previous was better” of inspiration. Also some fashion related study materials like encyclopedia of fashion detail which would have a wide range of silhouettes and periodicals which talks about fashion changes and forecast.

  • Always be equipped with a digital camera or a notepad and pencil

While going out,  jot down details of the ideas which appeals to you.

  • Keep thing in handy.

A set of stationery and sketching materials along with

  • Collect pictures and make an album with it.

History repeats itself so who know when a famous design hits the market you have detail info about it. Pictures with innovative ideas or might as well say full composed pictures which would help in giving ideas of how to compose an illustration board.

  • Make a scrap book.

Collect all the innovative idea in colorful pages. A scrap book is to have rough sketches of your ideas.

  • Keep a collection.

Keep a collection of magazines and booklets of designs and other book for source  silhouettes or templates kept handy ready-to-use make a good habit to sketching easy and also to sketch new ideas as-soon-as they strike your mind.

  • Indulge in art

You might not be an art expert or an artist but be friendly with colors and sketching materials so that you experiment and learn new ideas as to make your drawing more appealing and who knows they might as well be your source of inspiration.

  • Be sure you never bore your brains to death of your creative sense so make a work place look more like a recreation room to build new ideas.

The room should enhance your interaction with arts and craft and also clothing style. The room should sport something that would never bore you out of your mind.

  • Plan trips to the beach, museums, libraries, cinemas, clubs, discos, picnic spot, etc.

Please do take a digital camera along to capture sceneries and landmarks which would help you in times to come and who knows you might become a good photographer by practice.

  • Research in Detail

When you are interested in some thing try finding out about it in detail and fill your scrap book full with its information and sketches because by time the interest and enthuse will be lost if proper directions are not followed.

  • Always have a complete collection of colors and fabrics.

Follow proper colors. Also do have book and encyclopedia of different cuts and patterns.
