Volume, volume

When it comes to glamorous hairstyles, you can always rely on Versace, and they are not even scheduled this season. Their hair stylist Guido Palau created a voluminous, rich hairstyles that go perfectly with the elegant outfits. Volume for this season also prefer D & G, DKNY, Issa London, and Sonia Rykiel.

Every spring tails are “in”. But now the tail is carried low bound – even smooth or totally unkempt, tied with a rubber band, tape or hair clips.

Different tail

The new version of the tail and bun for this season is a combination of these two hairstyles. So neither is totally tail, neither is bun. Many hairdressers fashion designers have decided just to this hair, so they were able to see variations in Carolina Herrera, Gucci, Moschino Cheap & Chic, a Marc by Marc Jacobs and House of Holland. An interesting variant of the tail and gave Hervé Léger.

Bob

Warmer weather is appropriate for short hair – even if it is an artificial version of the short hair. Some designers have opted for a wig (Emporio Armani), while others emphasized in natural bob or long and raised hair tied, so it looks like a bob-Rag & Bone, Jil Sander and Mark Fast.

Retro hairstyles

Retro is always “in”. And this year could see a really interesting cross-section through the decades. There was a hairstyle inspired by the twenties, forties and fifties, such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Prada, Sonia Rykiel, Zac Posen and Mark Fast. But there were also crazy hairstyles of the sixties and seventies.

Wet and slicked hair

This was one of the most popular trends  no matter how strange it was. Wet hair is dissolved combined with heavy makeup and some of the designers who opted for it were: Alexander Wang, Alberta Ferretti and Giambattista Valli. Equally popular was the zalizana hair back or raised in a sleazy high tail.

Partings of all kinds

This season, special emphasis is placed on the parting of all kinds. The simplest one is set in the middle, which again brings us a touch of the seventies. Also popular is the one set on the side, which is this year placed a very deep on the side and worn with either dissolved or lifted hair. Some hair stylists have decided to do something different, so they opted for the V parting. Designer David Kome models had V partings combined with medium-high tail. Yohji Yamamotoa had simiar models, while Anne Valerie Hash experimented with V intertwined parted.

If you have some sort of an interesting scarf, but you do not like to wear around your neck, then this season you could try to wear it around your head. Not only that you will look stylish, but spring breeze will not ruffle your hair, and you will protect your head from the sun. You can wear it in Turban-style, Pirat-style, or just simply tie it up.

We are quite confident that this trend won’t take hold in a number of you, but it should be mentioned. In fact, some of the hairstylists decided to play whit color, so they put temporary colors on models hair. This spring everything is allowed, from pastel shades to bright colors.

For several seasons (and years) braids are not going down from the head of the models..
