The Best Thing About Being A Mother

By Angela Allen

The best thing about being a mother is when your child can come to you, kisses you on the cheek, and says, “I love you mommy”. Hearing those words can make a mother realize how important it is to force love into your kids. My oldest son, who is two, is a well mannered child. I believe if you teach them young, it will grow with them. I have taught him how to say “thank you” when he is given something and is starting to say “you’re welcome” when I ask him to do something. We even got to the stage to where he says “bless you” when you sneeze. Now we are working on “sorry” when he bumps into you and “please” when he wants something. Even though he watches television that is teaching him his ABC’s and counting to ten, I will continue to teach him his manners that will have a long lasting impact on him.
