You possibly will be having an opinion that natural remedies are a thing of the past but in actual facts more and more natural remedies are being used in homes today to take care of various medical conditions. And it just may be the one thing that helped you through.

Below are a few natural remedies and useful tips for you to try while dealing with your morning sickness. Some remedies might work better than others for different people so don’t be afraid to try out and try them all to find what works for you.
Ginger

This remedy is commonly known to help out with nausea and vomiting for many age groups. You can try gingerale or gingersnaps. But to get the real affect go for the real stuff. Studies prove that the properties found in fresh ginger give an effective treatment. Be creative and sprinkle it on your favorite foods.
Tummy-Soothing Teas

Try limiting liquid intake during meals and instead drink more between meals. Some good quality teas to consider are hot chamomile tea or peppermint iced tea.
Move Slowly

Whether it’s getting up in the morning or after a sleep, rising or moving too rapidly can throw off equilibrium and trigger sickness. Be sure to take it easy and relax with deep breaths.
Switch prenatals

The high iron contents found in regular prenatal can induce sickness and vomiting in many pregnant women. Switching to a low iron formula in the first trimester only (when the chance of anemia is very small) may help with morning sickness. Also, take your vitamins late in the day and skip the glass of water. In its place swallow your vitamin in a spoonful of pudding or applesauce.
Snack Tricks

Always carry on snacks. Carry them in your purse, by your bed and in your car. Do your best to not have an empty stomach but be sure to not have it too full. Think small portions. Try having toast or crackers in bed before rising. But be sure to not drink any fluids, particularly water, while chewing.
Use Your Senses

As changes take place in your body while being pregnant nearly all women develop extremely sharp sense of smell. Some smells trigger nausea while others help subside it. Carry a piece of cloth in your purse perfumed with a combination of lavender and peppermint oil. At the first indication of nausea, hold the cloth to your nose and breathe deep for immediate nausea relief.
Hopefully, you find some of these tips helpful and remember that morning sickness is temporary.

Very interesting what works and does not work with some women. As for me, lemonade and baked potato from Wendy’s were the only food I could eat. Thank you for sharing!
