If you are pregnant and planning to travel somewhere, follow these simple tips. Am sure these tips will greatly reduce unwanted disasters.

  1. Never purchase your travel plans unless you have consulted with your doctor.
  2. Avoid places where you are required immunization.
  3. While purchasing your air tickets, check out the airline rules for pregnant travelers, the papers you will be requiring, facilities that are provided to pregnant travelers.
  4. Try your best to book an aisle seat. An Aisle seat will serve you and your co-passengers the best.
  5. Wear loose comfortable clothes, sports shoes instead of tight jeans, short skirts and high heels. Carry a portable entertainment system such as a portable DVD player, mp3 player, magazine and novels.
  6. Bringing along your own meal is highly recommended. If won’t be able to prepare your own meals, worry not. Most airlines allow its passengers to order special meal.
  7. Keep emergency numbers such as your doctor, husband, the person who will be receiving you at the airport at handy.
