Mothers are always busy looking after others that is why these reminders are for all the mothers out there who needed to take a little time for themselves.
A week before Mother’s day
Reminders that start from the top.
- We don’t want to have a bad hair day on our special day. Here’s a simple reminder, look at all your previous pictures and check which hair style really suited you and bring that picture the next time you visit your hair stylish.
- Keep your face make-up free the whole week before the celebration. When everyone is asleep check which shade of lipstick, blush on, eye shadow, etc. look really good on you then on Mother’s day you can wear the shades that look best on you and surprise your family.
- Be sure to use a toothpaste that whitens the teeth. A mother’s close-up smile is the best curve children would want to see and even husbands, too.
- A stressful mother looks older than she is. The best way to avoid this is to relax a little bit and if you feel you’re about to burst then inhale for about five seconds then inhale for another five second, keep that for about ten times.
- Listen to a relaxing music. Sometimes we can’t help but complain when things don’t go the way we planned but if we hear sweet voices singing or instruments playing, we will feel better.
A day before Mother’s Day
Simple reminders to take care of ourselves and quotes to ponder.
- Do simple exercises in the morning. Bill Toomey said,”As I mentioned previously, the tools that allow for optimum health are diet and exercise.”
- Sing while working. Arthur Freed said,” I’m singing in the rain, just singing in the rain; What a wonderful feeling, I’m happy again.”
- Take a nap. Martha Steward said,”I catnap now and then, but I think while I nap, so it’s not a waste of time.”
- Kiss your love ones. Benjamin West said,”A kiss from my mother made me a painter.”
- Laugh out loud. Laughter is the best medicine.
- Say a little prayer. W. Clement said,”Prayer is mans greatest power! “
- Sleep well. Leonardo da Vince said,”A well-spent day brings happy sleep.”
May these reminders help you to have a wonderful Mother’s day.
Happy Mother’s day to all mothers!
