The Top 10 Foolproof Tips and Tricks to Make Sure You Always Look Your Best

Ever had to paint your nails at the last minute before going out? Always snagging your tights on various pieces of furniture around the house? Never have any time to fully put on your make-up? Here’s YOUR change to put that to an end! I’ve compiled a list of my top 10 tips and tricks for maintaining a good look just for you girls and ladies out there who need it especially.

Now, enough of my prattling, and let’s get down to business:

1. Painting your nails in a hurry? Don’t stress! Instead of having to wait several minutes for the polish to dry, just run your nails under the cold tap and shake your hands dry – DO NOT dry them with a towel, otherwise you’ll smudge the polish!

2. Got a hole in your tights? Dab some clear nail varnish around the hole – it’ll stop the fabric from fraying and turning into a huge ladder all up your best tights!

3. Always keep a tub of vaseline/chapstick/lipbalm in your bag, and apply as often as you need it. Make sure you always reapply after eating or drinking. This will keep your lips super-soft and luxurious!

4. On a first date, never EVER order any of the following – salad, spaghetti, pizza (but only if you’re careful). You don’t want to risk getting slapped in the face by a stray piece of lettuce/pasta/a particularly stringy bit of cheese.

5. When you brush your teeth, brush your tongue as well. It sounds weird, but it makes your mouth feel much more clean and your bresh will be much fresher.

6. Likewise, on a first date NEVER order anything with onions or garlic bread – it’s only okay to do so if your date is eating it too. Garlic or onion breath is NOT pleasant if you move in for a kiss.

7. DON’T FORGET to take your make-up off EVERY NIGHT. There’s nothing worse thanhaving to scrub off smeared lipstick and panda eyes in the morning.

8. Never wear anything pink with anything red. It totally clashes and will look completely wrong and unattractive. Pick either colour – and stick to it.

9. Always keep your hair brushed and tidy.

10. If you use hairspray, hold the can close as near to your roots as you can, and spray downwards along the length of the hair for even distribution and maximum hold.
