A weak foundation in life ultimately creates a poor result, just as building a color palette on the wrong shade or texture of foundation just wont work.

In today’s the eyes of young women are trying so hard to pick out the right kind of Foundation, and most of the time when our teens are getting ready they have not yet been told that less is more, and young ladies please for the love in a true mans eyes BLEND!!! I’m sorry but no man likes to look at his women and go oh my she looks like she has put on a mask.

Have you ever noticed that if spend all your time thinking about whats wrong with you, that’s what you’ll reflect to the outside world? In the same way, when you apply your makeup on a base that you don’t feel good about, your look will well just fall apart. Lets not have that happen. We are going to help you find the right type of foundation is best for your skin.

Most doctors agree that alcohol, SD alcohol, fragrance’s, glycol’s, landin, mineral oils, petrolatum, and preservatives tend to cause allergic reactions for sensitive skin, so ladies please check the ingredients in your makeup before you buy it. So on that note I tried to my best give you a breakdown of the manny types available.

WATER-BASE LIQUID: This is good for people who are more acne-prone and have lots of natural oils in their    skin. BE CAREFUL!!! Just because it’s called water-based doesn’t mean it has no oil. It just may have more water than oil. This type doesn’t give the most even coverage.

OIL-FREE LIQUID: If your skin is very sensitive and you break out easily, try this as a solution. The trouble here is that without any oil at all, a liquid foundation may streak or appear chalky on application.

POWDER-FORMULATED FOUNDATION: This type of foundation will create a finished, natural look. It works for normal to oil skin.

TINTED MOISTURIZER: This provides threefold benefits. It evens out the skin, moisturizes, provides skin protection. It often contains oil. so please check the labels and take it easy at first to see what happens.

CREAM: A cream foundation brings radiance to the skin. Non-oil and with a little powder to absorb shine, this gives the best coverage.

PANCAKE OR STICK: Definitely the heaviest coverage. Suggest this only for people who need to camouflage.

FOUNDATION TO AVOID

MULTIPHASE FOUNDATION: This requires mixing because the alcohol or water settles on the top while talc and pigment fall to the bottom. It ends up dry and chalky on the skin, and is only recommended for severe case of acne.

LONG-WEARING SMUDGE-PROOF FOUNDATION: Unnatural  foundation that doesn’t blend and is harsh to the skin. Any amount of money spent here is wasted.

TWO-IN-ONE-FORMULAS: Whether it is cream and then powder or liquid and powder, it steals your control over the final effect.

WET/DRY FORMULAS:This looks floury on the skin in dry form, while the wet form ends up looking thick.

Many of the newest foundations can do two or oven three jobs in one. Check out the ingredients for these valuable extras. Remember ladies keep the weather in mind when your choosing foundation or any other makeup. Your skin texture changes in the summer and winter, so be sure to give your skin what it needs.

SPF:If you live in a year round sunny climate, this is very important. Many tinted moisturizers and liquid foundations come with builtin sunscreen.

AHA/BHA:The concentration of alpha-and beta- hydroxide acids is far less than the amount found in designated skin care products, but they do have a mild exfoliate effect. Overuse can irritate skin, so avoid the eye area if these ingredients are included.

ANTIOXIDANT’S: A,C and E are the vitamins most used here to place free- radical at the surface of the skin. Sensitive skin could break out so test on a small area first.

OIL ABSORBERS: Kaolin and talc absord excess facial oil and give the skin a matle appearance. Be careful they don’t settle into fine lines.

MOISTURIZERS: Emollients, generally some type of oil, provide a light weight barrier that keeps moisture from evaporating. Allows the skin to feel less taut and more comfortable.
